This series of slides covers the findings and recommendations from the enquiry which were presented at the report launch meeting in December 2017.

A video entitled “It's better to ask: working together to prevent maternal mortality” has been produced by Rebecca Northridge, the RCPS(Glasgow) and the RCOG. The video highlights the main indirect causes of maternal mortality and gives guidance on the assessment of unwell pregnant and post-partum women who display associated symptoms. This is a series of 10 slides sets which are arranged in order of the report chapters. Please note that the slides relating to Chapter 3 on sepsis are split into two presentations 3a and 3b and that the presentations relating to Chapters 4 and 5 for haemorrhage and AFE are combined into a single set of slides as the lessons for care are similar.
