Mrs Kayleigh Stanbury BSc (Hons)

Biography

In my role as Head of Operations, I oversee all operational and strategic aspects involved with designing, conducting and disseminating clinical trials. I work closely with the CTU Director, Clinicians and colleagues from across all disciplines such as Trial Management, Research Nursing and Midwifery, Quality Assurance, Statistics and IT Development to ensure the smooth running of our research portfolio and team.

I sit on the Senior Leadership Team within the NPEU helping to provide strategic oversight for the wider research team. I am a co-applicant on several grants helping to shape and provide expertise in trial conduct, Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPI&E) and dissemination.

I have over 18 years of trials experience with a background focusing on trial management, in previous roles I have helped to assess the development of children recruited to the I2S2 trial using the Bayley III Scales of Infant and Toddler Development.
