BOBBi receives regulatory approvals!

A huge milestone for the BOBBi trial! We're delighted to announce that BOBBi has received all the necessary regulatory approvals for the trial to move forward.

This is an important step for the study and brings us closer to opening sites and beginning recruitment across the UK. BOBBi will also be expanding to Canada, with sites currently being worked towards as part of the trial. We're really looking forward to working with our colleagues in Canada and welcoming the Canadian sites to BOBBi as the study progresses.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible – from the study team and collaborators to everyone who has supported BOBBi's development and approval. Your hard work, expertise and commitment have brought the trial another significant step closer to recruitment.

With the necessary approvals now in place, we are looking forward to working with participating hospitals across the UK and building momentum towards recruitment.

Ultimately, BOBBi aims to generate the evidence needed to improve the treatment of babies with suspected bacterial meningitis. We're excited to take this next step with teams across the UK and Canada.
