Dr. Joris Hemelaar has recently joined the NPEU as a Senior Clinical Research Fellow and his research area is HIV in pregnancy.

Dr. Hemelaar has been invited to give a lecture at the RCOG Annual Academic Meeting on Friday 26th February 2021. If you are attending the online event and interested in his research, he will be discussing 'Adverse perinatal outcomes associated with maternal HIV-infection and antiretrovirial therapy.'
