First recruit for the Minidex trial

Congratulations to the team at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, led by Minidex Chief Investigator Dr Mark Turner, who have recruited the first participant to the Minidex trial!

Many thanks to the family for agreeing to take part.

The trial launched on 21st July and now has eight open sites: Liverpool Women’s Hospital, Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, University Hospital of North Tees, University Hospital Coventry, Hull Royal Infirmary and Royal Preston Hospital.

We plan to open the remaining three recruiting sites by the end of August (Bradford Royal Infirmary, Royal Victoria Infirmary and Leeds General Infirmary). The first participant was recruited on 2nd August – well done Liverpool!
