Ling Tao

Biography

Ling Tao is a DPhil student in National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit at the University of Oxford. Her doctoral research investigates maternal cardiac disease. Her work draws on systematic review, and routinely collected health data to generate evidence relevant to clinical practice and health policy.

Ling is supported by the CSC-COI MD/PhD Scholarship for her doctoral study at Oxford. Her broader research interests include maternal cardiovascular health, real-world evidence, and the use of population-level data to improve health outcomes.

Before joining Oxford, Ling trained in Xiangya Medical School at Central South University, China, where she developed a strong foundation in cardiology.
