National study shows ethnic variations in severe maternal morbidity

A new UKNeS study published in PLOS One shows that women from specific ethnic minority backgrounds, including black African, black Caribbean, Bangladeshi and Pakistani women, are at increased risk of severe maternal morbidity. Read the full paper.
