Xinyang Hua is a nominated finalist for the 2020 Victorian Premier’s Awards for Health and Medical Research

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Xinyang Hua, who is working as a Researcher in Health Economics at the NPEU, has been nominated as a finalist for the 2020 Victorian Premier's Awards for Health and Medical Research in recognition of her exceptional contribution to Health Service Research during her PhD study in Victoria, Australia.

Xinyang's research is themed around health economics and chronic disease. Her six PhD studies have filled important evidence based gaps in health service research and have been internationally focused, with one study published in the prestigious Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). The award ceremony will take place in the Federation Square, Melbourne on 23 March 2020 and all of us here at the NPEU would like to congratulate her on her nomination and wish her all the very best on the day.
