A Quick Recruitment Update and Thanks from the TSC & DMC

Our Trial Steering Committee (TSC) and Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) met in September and October, and they were full of praise for everyone's hard work. They were genuinely impressed by the dedication and quality of work across all units, so thank you from them, and from us!

To make sure we have enough babies for all our planned analyses, we'll keep recruiting until the end of February 2026 as originally planned, even if we go over the target of 7,040 babies.

We know we're getting close to the end, and it looks like we may hit 7,040 before February ends, but a decision has been made to continue recruitment beyond this number. This will give us the confidence that the trial is fully powered and that our results will be as robust as possible.
