Biography
Shan graduated from Cardiff University in 2003 with a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Computer Science. After holding several research based positions in Oxford she joined the Unit in October 2006 as the CORONIS Trial Administrator changing roles to become the CORONIS Data Manager in October 2007 and then Trial Manager in 2011.
Having worked on the CORONIS Trial and the subsequent Follow-up Study to their completion in 2015, Shan joined the ANODE Trial Team as Trial Manager until 2018 and subsequently moved to The Global Health Network working on developing tools and resources to support research capacity strengthening in LMICs. Shan returned to the NPEU in 2023 as MAMA Trial Manager.
