MBRRACE-UK report shows fall in maternal deaths

Maternal deaths in the UK have decreased from 11 per 100,000 women giving birth in 2006-8 to 10 100,000 women giving birth in 2009-12 according to the national report published by the MBRRACE-UK team, led from the NPEU. The report, "Saving Lives, Improving Mothers' Care", is launched today at the RCOG in London. Download the report.
