MaatHRI Team

MaatHRI has a large multidisciplinary team comprising of research staff, clinicians, members of the public and academics from India and the UK. The chief investigator, research nurses, project manager and clinical collaborators in India are responsible for the day-to-day management of the research and capacity building work in India. MaatHRI has a community engagement and involvement (CEI) group that provides independent advice for conceptualising studies, developing and implementing the research work, ethical aspects of the research, planning outreach and participant recruitment, as well as developing dissemination strategies. Another independent body, the MaatHRI Data Safety and Monitoring Board (DSMB), annually monitors data security and confidentiality, participant recruitment, and ethical compliance. MaatHRI steering committee, which includes collaborators from India and the UK, has the overall responsibility of all activities undertaken by the platform.
