Public Participation, Involvement and Engagement

The participation, involvement and engagement of women with experience of intermittent auscultation (IA) is central to Listen2Baby.

Two of the co-investigator team, Mo Ade and Sumayya Mulla, both of whom have recent experience of IA, have been involved in the project throughout from planning and application through all aspects of the conduct of the study.

Some of the participants in the focus groups and interviews in work package 3 helped us plan our approach to work package 2, and then continued to be involved, contributing to the co-dsign activities in work package 4.

Our Stakeholder Group includes representatives from the NCT, The Motherhood Group and the Birth Trauma Association.

Our Study Steering Committee includes a member representing women's experience, Agnes Agyepong.
