Dr Reem Malouf MD, Neurologist, Specialist in Internal Medicine, MSc

Health services researcher & Teaching fellow

Biography

I joined the NPEU in 2011 to look at maternity services for women with disability. I have been involved in a number of projects, including the neuro-development of children born prematurely and preterm birth clinics. I am particularly interested in research around maternal mental health and well-being.

I am a clinically trained neurologist with a masters in medical statistics. I previously worked as a research fellow at St George's Hospital in London. I have authored several Cochrane reviews, mainly in the field of cognitive improvement and dementia. I am a co-founder of ALOIS, an online register of dementia studies.
