Biography

Jen is a nurse/midwife and post doc qualitative researcher. She joined Oxford University from UCL in London after an eclectic career in oversees development and humanitarian response, stimulating her PhD exploring vulnerability in childbirth. Jen has particular interest in working with women in democratic and inclusive ways to improve maternity experiences and outcomes. She is working on the NPEU study Listen2Baby and the Primary Health Care Sciences Department study BEAMS: BEtter outcomes postnAtally for MumS.
