30 September – 2 October 2026 | Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Rome, Italy

The 2026 INOSS Annual Meeting will take place in Rome on 30 September–1 October, bringing together representatives of the International Network of Obstetric Survey Systems (INOSS) to review ongoing collaborative research, discuss new scientific initiatives and define future priorities for the network. (workshop programme)

Building on the opportunity to bring the INOSS network together in Rome, the meeting will be followed on 2 October by the INOSS–ItOSS International Conference, Maternal Health between Evidence, Health Systems and Care Practices, hosted by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità. (conference programme)

The conference will bring together clinicians, researchers, epidemiologists, public health professionals and policymakers to discuss current evidence and experiences in maternal health, with sessions focusing on severe maternal morbidity, prevention strategies, organisation of care, social inequalities and perinatal mental health.

By holding the two events consecutively, INOSS members will have the opportunity to extend discussions beyond the annual network meeting, exchange knowledge with a wider scientific audience and contribute to an international dialogue on improving maternal health through research, surveillance and quality of care.

We look forward to welcoming colleagues from across the INOSS network and the wider maternal health community to Rome for three days of scientific exchange and collaboration."
