Data Protection
The register is based at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit, University of Oxford and follows their strict data protection policies.
As a member of BINOCAR, the register has MREC approval as a research database and Confidentiality Advisory Group (CAG) approval (formerly PIAG) to collect personal information without individual consent under Section 251 of the NHS Act 2006.
