Dr Victoria Coathup

NDPH Intermediate Fellow victoria.coathup@npeu.ox.ac.uk

Biography

Victoria is an NDPH Intermediate Fellow at the NPEU and her current resesarch investigates associations between maternal body mass index and offspring infection using routinely collected data from UK cohorts.

Victoria joined the NPEU in early 2017 as a Researcher in Epidemiology and Statistics to work on the TIGAR project, which investigated relationships between gestational age at birth and child health outcomes using routinely collected hospital data. Before joining the NPEU, she worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Health, Law and Emerging Technology (HeLEX) at the University of Oxford, conducting surveys about patient and participant involvement in research. Victoria completed a PhD in 2016 which explored associations between maternal diet, alcohol consumption and offspring outcomes.
