Trial Co-ordinator and Core Trials Support Role
Kayleigh project manages the Poppi Trial, she is also part of the core trials team and helps support the unit in developing new trials and manages other Trial Coordinators within the unit.
Kayleigh graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BSc. in Psychology and has worked in clinical trials and studies ever since. In July 2009 she joined the NPEU as the I2S2 Trial Co-ordinator and Developmental Assessor for the trial. She managed the project and helped to assess the development of children recruited to the trial using the Bayley III tool. Kayleigh now manages the Poppi trial, a single centre phase II trial looking at the efficacy of morphine analgesia for procedural pain in infants. Kayleigh is also part of the core trials team and helps support the unit in developing new trials and manages Trial Coordinators.
