MBRRACE-UK Perinatal Mortality Surveillance Launch Meeting 2019

This meeting will launch the 5th MBRRACE-UK Perinatal Mortality Surveillance Findings: Deaths for Births from January to December 2017. The results of the perinatal mortality surveillance, the methods used for data collection and analysis will be presented for 2017 data.
The programme will also include presentations of the findings from the first report of the national Perinatal Mortality Review Tool and the ESMiE Confidential Enquiry of intrapartum stillbirths and intrapartum related neonatal deaths where some or all of the labour care was provided in a midwifery-led setting.
MBRRACE-UK are leading the development of National Clinical Guidelines for Assessing Signs of Life for Babies Born at the Threshold of Survival. An update on this development will be presented.
There will also be an opportunity for delegates to present a poster covering local, regional or national activities in relation to reducing stillbirths and neonatal deaths. Please submit any abstracts covering the following topics:
- Prevention and Management of Risk Factors;
- Activities to Reduce Perinatal Deaths including Reviewing Cases and the PMRT;
- Activities to Support Bereaved Parents;
- Sharing Good Practice;
- Any Related Topic

Abstract submissions close 30th August 2019. The outcome of abstract submissions will be notified w/c 9th September 2019.
An earlybird rate of £120 per person for doctors, medically qualified researchers & others applies until 13th September 2019
An earlybird rate of £80 per person for midwives, nurses, non-medical researchers, students, charities and voluntary sectors applies until 13th September 2019
The full rates will be £140 and £100 respectively, and will be open until 1st October 2019.
This includes refreshments and a sandwich lunch.
