Biography
Diane Korb is a French Academic Visitor for a postdoctoral project from 1st September 2021 to 1st September 2022. She was graduated in Medicine in 2010 from Paris Descartes University, France. After her resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Paris (2010-2015), she did her fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the department of gynecology and obstetrics at Robert Debré University Hospital, Paris, (2016-2020) and was appointed Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2020.
Simultaneously, she obtained a Master in public health and epidemiology with a dissertation on the risk of severe maternal morbidity associated with cesarean delivery (2016). She continued on the topic of the maternal morbidity for women with twin pregnancy with a PhD in epidemiology (2017-2020) (Sorbonne University, Pierre Louis School of Public Health, Doctoral School ED393, INSERM U1153, EPOPé Team (Obstetrical, perinatal and pediatric epidemiology Research team), Paris).
Her postdoctoral research focuses on investigating the association between the immediate postpartum management of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and long-term cardio-vascular complication, in a Large UK Pregnancy Cohort of Linked Electronic Health Records.
